"Being in the Fashion Merchandising program at USM and actively involved in extracurricular activities throughout my college career proved to be particularly helpful in preparing me for a future at one of the greatest luxury retail companies in the world. While completing seven months of training in Saks Fifth Avenue's Executive Excellence program and beginning a new position as an Assistant Buyer for the company, I have consistently been reminded of lessons learned during my time at Southern Miss. By having a Fashion Merchandising degree and minor in Marketing from the College of Business, I feel that I am better prepared for what my future holds."
